Aéroport de Montréal / YUL / Montréal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport, is not only one of Canada’s busiest, it is also one of the most snow-affected airports in the world.

This is not a whitepaper

It's a short, heartwarming story in which lies countless moments of resilience, innovation, and collaboration that has kept nearly 20 million passengers safe and on schedule every year, even in the face of the harshest winter storms on earth.

For nearly a decade now, Baseline’s Airside airport ground operations solution has been an invaluable platform helping Air Traffic Controllers command, control and coordinate with their incredible ground operations personnel, the unsung heroes behind the scenes.

An invaluable tool supporting the airport's mission critical ground maintenance operations, Airside is nearing a pivotal moment in our journey to delivering the long awaited transition to its next generation, which represents a giant leap forward in our ongoing mission to support Aéroports de Montréal in their airport operations.

Incredible Journey

Group 4628From the outset over 8 years ago, Aéroports de Montréal and Baseline have shared a common vision for a more efficient, safe, and responsive airport environment.

Airside was born out of this vision, and evolved from its close cousin Citycare (helping Canadian Cities manage their municipalities).

Designed to tackle the unique challenges posed by severe winter weather, ensuring that passengers face minimal disruption to their travel plans.

Group 4626Together, we've weathered countless storms, with Airside enabling seamless coordination between air traffic controllers, ground operations teams, and maintenance crews, ensuring that every runway, taxiway, apron and gate is cleared, that every plane is decided and departs on time, and every passenger safely reached their destination.

Our partnership is a testament to what can be achieved when innovation meets dedication.

Bright Future

Group 4627As we embark on this new chapter, our commitment to excellence and collaboration has never been stronger.

Bult on the success from the past, the next generation of Airside promises to be even better, delivering enhanced features, improved user experience, and even greater operational efficiency.

This transition is not just a testament to our shared history of overcoming challenges, but also to the trust and confidence Aéroports de Montréal places in us at Baseline. We are grateful for their unwavering support and the opportunity to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible in airport operations together.

Amazing People

customerADMWe’ve always worked closely together, but our collaboration has reached an incredible synergy during this critical transition phase.

Working hand in hand, we’re sharing the common goal to ensure that the deployment of the new version not only meets but exceeds the expectations of all the dedicated personnel, from air traffic controllers to ground maintenance teams, all of whom are the tireless heroes keeping things running smoothly, no matter the weather.

It is their tireless dedication and attention to detail which is the true motivation behind what we’re shaping Airside to become.

As we look to the future, we are reminded of the importance and significance of our partnership with Aéroport de Montréal. Their deep commitment to innovation and performance have been instrumental in shaping a solution that impacts millions of lives each year.

Immense Gratitude

Group 4629Together, we are not just navigating the challenges of today but quite possibly setting new standards for airport operations on a worldwide basis.

More than an upgrade; together we’re taking a leap into the future of airport efficiency and safety.

On behalf of everyone at Baseline who have worked tirelessly on this project in the past 6 months, I wish to thank all the professionals at Aéroports de Montréal which we’ve had the pleasure of working with, and to state how proud we are to stand with you all, as you continue to serve as a beacon of resilience and innovation in the face of our Canadian winter's might.

Our journey together is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we unite in the face of challenges, driven by a commitment to excellence and the safety of passengers worldwide.

Together, we’ll continue connecting the world, navigating through the storms, in order to get your aircraft and passengers to soar above them, one flight at a time.

Here's to the next chapter in our partnership.
